From humble beginnings in 2018 to a thriving community — every year adds a new chapter.
Our most celebrated year — grand festivals, growing membership, 500+ photos and 20+ videos archived.
Expanded celebrations with cultural programs, street procession and a growing volunteer team. 255+ photos archived.
First year with a dedicated Durgashtami celebration. Committee structure formalized with elected positions.
Bathukamma added to celebrations. Community volunteers doubled. First photo archive created.
Post-pandemic comeback year. Grand Vinayaka Chaturthi with 200+ members in attendance.
Limited celebrations during pandemic. Community bond strengthened through virtual gatherings.
The beginning — Shiva Sena Utsava Committee founded with 12 families and a shared vision of preserving cultural heritage in Vidyanagar, Khanapur.

Founded in 2018 by 12 dedicated families in Vidyanagar, Khanapur, Shiva Sena Utsava Committee began with a simple yet powerful vision — to create a space where our community could come together to celebrate culture, honour traditions and build lasting memories. What started as a small Vinayaka Chaturthi gathering has grown into a vibrant community of 500+ members.
Over eight years we have celebrated Vinayaka Chaturthi, Bathukamma and Durgashtami with growing enthusiasm. Through pandemic years we adapted; through challenges we grew stronger. Each year adds a new chapter — devotion, resilience and community love.
